There is one fact that is quite understood and realized among the leaders in most of the major industries around the world and that is: How digital technology is revolutionizing all the models we know so far.

Digitization is now becoming the main source of tremendous transformations in different aspects of our lives. Digitization is the new connectivity for citizens, legislators, societies and governments. It presents limitless opportunities for creating more value for business, but if not done carefully, it also poses a risk.

Much has been discussed and analyzed, very specifically the economic or social implications of the digitization phenomenon, questions are arising and competition is widening, while important questions only appear while the process of digital transformation is taking place.

However, throughout all these processes, I want to point out as an urgent matter and the most important factor in all this boom: Who is the operator behind a machine? Who do companies direct their virtual or augmented reality devices to? Who is behind all this spectacle of digital transformation? It is what some economists from the EU business school call: the unit cost of production, let’s say, the human being, let’s say, you and me.

Some great personalities around the world from various cultures, I am talking about supermen who took time to scrutinize our internal and external nature. Those great philosophers agree that the evolutionary state of humanity today is that of mere intellect, nothing more, nothing more. The intellect has enabled us to go beyond the unexpected in the material world. It has allowed us to progress in many fields of thought from the materialistic point of view, let’s say, what our senses experience as a stimulus that comes from the outside: object and subject. However, as paradoxical as it may seem, we are perpetuating our dependence on devices and diminishing the natural abilities we were born with, making us in many cases mentally lazy and acting as slaves to those devices. If not, can someone explain if they know how thoughts are formed or how we can experience deep changes in our deep personality and have an integrated life? The statistics show a very poor projection on this so far.

The exponential growth that defines most of the scenarios that we are currently experiencing can help us understand all this material phenomenon. The universal laws from the physical point of view limit our senses and way of existing. Therefore, exponential growth unlocks limitless possibilities in graphics, virtual realities, holographic realities, or astral realities. When the speed of a computer continuously increases its speed, the most fantastic or even science fiction computers or devices arise. Processor Chips: “The main component of the computer is called the Central Processing Unit, or CPU for short. The CPU is a very small piece of silicon and is often referred to as a silicon chip or processor chip. This small piece is the brain of the computer, equivalent to the engine of a car: twice the speed every eighteen months according to Moore’s Law, the rule of thumb in the technology industry. Therefore, computers as we know them, until 2025 will tend to be more than 70 times faster than they are now in 2016. Photonics (“the branch of technology that deals with the properties and transmission of photons, for example in fiber optics”), says that the more data that comes out of the fiber optic cables, the faster the connectivity, this increasing at rates of more than double every nine months.

Meanwhile, as an analysis exercise, changing customer expectations, cultural transformation, outdated regulation, and identifying and accessing the right skills, to name just a few. These challenges must be addressed by government and industry leaders to unlock the substantial benefits that digital offers to society and industry. Machines increase efficiency, provide many tools to treat ailments, health problems among others, on the other hand it also lowers our IQ by not allowing us to use discernment or analytical skills, it also disintegrates our personality sometimes making us too ego or selfie ( Internet of Me) driven by making us lose sight of a holistic view of life.

After placing a debate above about the real meaning of the human being behind the devices, we want to always emphasize very clearly that the technology is useful. Technology is beautiful. Nothing more than that: “The word technology comes from two Greek words, transliterated techne and logos. Techne means art, skill, craft, or the form, manner, or means by which something is obtained… So technology literally means words or discourses about the way things are obtained.”

Taking these premises into account, many recommendations can be given, but as information established to help practicing industry leaders in their efforts to achieve a proper digital transformation, this can be applied not only in companies but in any group, such as families, students, social networks. organizations, etc:

Place the human factor above everything and anything. This includes a strong company-based human resources philosophy.

Have moments of silence, periodic moments of conscious silence (this is very different from sleeping), away from all kinds of technological devices. Turn them all off while you are in these systematic moments of silence. If it is in a group, it is better, although it is strongly recommended to do it individually since individual peace of mind generates collective peace. It all starts with each one of us! Regularly, hopefully twice a day, 30 minutes is recommended.

Start practicing meditation twice a day. 30 minutes. in the morning, 30 min. in the afternoon. Meditation creates new neurons, increases the gray matter of the brain, expands the brain connection. It makes us smarter. Intelligence does not simply mean having a high IQ. Meditation increases immune function and decreases pain. Meditation decreases inflammation from the cellular aspect. Meditation decreases stress, depression and anxiety.

Training for each of the members on how to breathe correctly (the vast majority of people do not know how to breathe even if they have a nose!).

Start training in what you eat. Yes, you are what you eat. The purer the food, the smarter our minds. Food goes to the blood. Blood nourishes our brain and our system in general.

The creation of a new digital culture consists of involving everyone, shareholders, stakeholders, etc.

Start searching and identifying, developing and then launching new digital business models.

Building successful corporate ventures within the company is a must.

Every aspect of operations must be reexamined.

Leveraging the right data and digital traction metrics needs to be part of the new culture. This also includes investments in security.

Create a high-quotient digital workforce

The company that wants to thrive in the digital enterprise must go beyond simply implementing new technologies for the sake of it. What gives a digital company that long-awaited competitive advantage is its culture, strategy and way of operating, without ever forgetting that in its new digital business models, always ensure these two things: Employees as unit costs of production and customers as the center of everything. you do. All the lights should focus on them!
