Pastel colors and cotton balls, Easter grass, and yellow peeps are reminiscent of egg baskets, bunnies, and pretty girl dresses. Oh spring. After a long, cold winter, it’s fun to start planning spring and Easter projects with your kids. Here are some fun Easter craft ideas and delicious snacks that your kids can help make and of course eat!

Easter Bunny Paper Bag

1 lunch box for 1 paper bag

Pink, white and black construction paper.

Pair of scissors

pencils

paste

Cut a V notch in the top of each lunch bag. Start at the top center and work your way down the notch. This will form the ears. Close the bag and lie down. Then cut the notch with both sides of the bag together. These will be the bunny ears. Cut out the ear shapes from the white construction paper and glue them to the “ear” of the bag. Cut a smaller piece in pink for the inside of the ear or reverse the colors. Cut out a small triangle of rose for the nose and glue it in the center where a nose would go. Draw your eyes or you could cut them out of paper or even add wiggly eyes. Cut out a rectangular piece of black paper, the size of a mustache. Then make cuts from each side of the short end towards the center of the paper without cutting all the way through. Do this several times on each side to create whiskers. Paste this on top of the nose. Now draw two circular cheeks and connect the mouth from the cheeks to the nose like a kitten’s mouth. Open the bag and now it can be a bag to collect eggs from your class egg hunt or to take crafts home and then use as a centerpiece at home.

1 container (16 ounces) vanilla frosting

It should still be easy to stir, but not hot enough to melt the jelly beans.) Add gummies and stir well. Spread fudge mixture into prepared pan and cool to room temperature. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Remove foil and fudge from skillet and place on a cutting surface. Carefully remove the foil and cut the fudge into small pieces. Make 3 dozen pieces.
