Easy spicy spaghetti

What do you need:

  • 1/2 kg. ground beef, preferably lean

  • 1 chopped onion

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 3 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes

  • 2 cups of beef broth

  • 1 cup spaghetti pasta, halved

  • 1 cup tomato sauce

  • 1/2 cup tomato paste

  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1 pinch of red pepper flakes

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Heat the oil in a large pot over hot embers. Sauté the onion until tender, followed by the garlic. Cook for 1 minute and then add the ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until cooked through. Add the beef broth, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Bring to a simmer. Add pasta and cook, uncovered, until pasta is al dente, about 10 minutes.

One Pot Campfire Breakfast Skillet

What do you need:

  • 1/4 kg. sliced ​​bacon

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 6 beaten eggs

  • 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded

In a cast iron skillet, cook bacon to desired doneness over simmering coals. Remove from pan and set aside. Cook the onion and potatoes in the hot bacon fat, about 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Return the bacon to the skillet and then add the eggs. Cook until eggs are done, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and top with cheddar cheese. Let melt before serving.

  • 1/3 cup sour cream

  • 3 tablespoons of flour

  • 2 butter spoons

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot or skillet over simmering coals, melt the butter and then sauté the mushrooms for 3 minutes. Add the onion and garlic and cook until tender. Add the ground beef and cook until golden brown and cooked through.

Add the flour, beef broth, Worcestershire, noodles, and thyme. Stir and simmer until noodles are cooked. Once cooked add the sour cream and heat for 2 min. It is better to serve it immediately.
