In a previous article, I featured 5 website posts that allow you to demonstrate your expertise and provide your visitors with information, tools, and tips that can improve your performance. These publications include Advice, Glossary, Frequent questions, Stories and Case studies. In this article, I present 5 additional posts that you can use to promote your business.

1. Evaluations. Evaluations are tools that you offer on your website that allow visitors to evaluate themselves or evaluate some aspect of their performance. Because many people like self-assessment, this can be a powerful way to attract visitors to your site. For example, if you specialize in leadership development, you can create an online tool that helps visitors identify your leadership style. If you are an expert in workplace communication, you can develop an inventory that allows respondents to clarify their communication preferences and work style.

2. Instruments. Similar to assessments (that is, an assessment is an example of a tool), a tool is anything that can help your readers perform a desired operation or function, or improve performance in a particular area. For example, as a cycling coach, I offer workouts and training plans that cyclists and multisport athletes can use to improve the quality of their training. I also provide speed and cadence graphs that athletes and their coaches can use to improve gait and shifting on the bike.

3. Links (edit). Links are another effective website resource, but of course they are not a true publication. However, this shouldn’t discourage you from adding a linking section to your site. Links have the advantage of being very useful for your readers and very easy for you to create. Some people are reluctant to link because they don’t want to promote their competition or drive people away from their site. Do not worry about that. When you provide access to high-quality websites with useful information, your visitors will see you as a valuable resource. Just make sure your links open in a new window so visitors don’t navigate away from your site.

Four. Newsletters. A newsletter is a very effective way to spread useful information. It is not a true post on a website because newsletters are longer and require more effort to create than tips, stories, posts, etc. However, if you have a newsletter, make sure visitors can download copies of all issues through your website. Also, provide a website form that visitors can use to sign up for your newsletter.

5. Articles. As with newsletters, an article is much longer and more complicated than a typical website publication. However, if you have published any articles, make sure they are accessible to your website visitors. This includes articles published in magazines and magazines (publish the article in PDF format), as well as electronic articles.
