The new high-end caliber collection is created using the style of a classic dress watch, with the design of the vintage looks of Roman numerals, subseconds at 6 o’clock and an elegant dial.
Its most outstanding and unique features include a perpetual calendar, which can be used until the year 2100. With its Eco-Drive system, it is powered by solar energy, with a large double date display at the midnight position. With a 24-hour dial near the 9 o’clock position, it allows observation of a second time zone. It is also waterproof to a depth of 100 m and the watch face is made of anti-reflective glass.
The Caliber 3100 collection actually consists of a total of 7 watches, with BT0000-15A and BT0003-17A being limited editions. There are currently only 999 pieces of BT0000-15A in the world and they are all made of stainless steel, while the BT0003-17A, with only 1500 pieces produced, is made of rose gold tone stainless steel. They both also have anti-reflective sapphire crystals and come with unique genuine alligator straps!
Estimated retail prices for these two limited edition watches are $ 650 and $ 675, respectively. The remaining pieces in the collection will be priced between $ 375 and $ 500.
