When our daughter was younger, we tried to get creative with some of the breakfast cereals we used to buy at our local grocery store. Our daughter would enjoy bowls of cereal for breakfast before school or as an after school snack.

Some of these suggestions are healthy, and some should only be used as an occasional treat. If your child likes to snack on a bowl of dry cereal, you can certainly omit the milk. If you are making an on-the-go treat, only use dry ingredients placed in a zip-lock bag.

Fun milk tip: Instead of using white milk, you can use chocolate. If you are health conscious, you can try using soy milk.
