There are many reasons to be excited about World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. With leaks about a new hero class (Death Knights), a new World PvP gameplay style (Lake Wintergrasp), and a new reputation-earning feature (Championing), the game has all MMORPG lovers talking. However, it’s not just these new additions that are making everyone go crazy. The old and tried favorites are still in the new expansion, including the dungeons, which are definitely some of the best gameplay in the game. One of the best dungeons that players can participate in is called The Nexus. Below are some facts about this dungeon that might help you plan your game once you get your hands on the expansion. I just wish you happy gaming!

The facts:

The Nexus is a dungeon with a player limit of 5 to 25 players. Actually, there will be two dungeons available for 5 players and a raid, whose final boss is none other than the Blue Dragonflight Aspect himself, Malygos. Below are details about the different instances and the Raid:

* Ice Caverns – A 5 player instance, this is for players with levels 71 to 73.

* The Oculus aka Magical Rings – A 5 player instance for players with a level 80 range.

* The Eye of Eternity – This is the raid wing of the dungeon, where players will face Malygos as the final boss.

To reach this dungeon, all you have to do is head to one of the Northrend regions called Borean Tundra. Since this is one of the entry points into the game, it should be easy. Once there, search for an ancient ice fortress located in Coldarra, the center of the Borean Tundra. You’ll know you’re there if you see a towering column of blue-white energy rising into the sky. Surrounding it are floating rings of land. To get to Coldarra, head to Amber Ledge, where a dragon will lead you to Coldarra. Look for a crack in the ground and go down. Once you see Arcane Serpents, you’ve arrived.

Details of the first instance known as The Nexus or Ice Caverns have also been released. For those who are interested in playing it (everyone I’m sure), let me tell you that the dungeon has a very wide area. However, the difficulty arises when you have to kill another three bosses before finally reaching the last boss. If you communicate well with your team and have a strategy planned before diving into the game, then this should be a piece of cake. But if all of you are itching for action, expect to get your ass kicked.
