Uganda is located in East Africa. It is bordered by Kenya, Tanzania, Sudan, Somalia, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Queen Elizabeth National Park covers the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. On a clear day, you can see the Ruwenzori Mountains from this park.

Murchison Falls from the river is a beautiful landscape that every visitor must see. It is formed by the waters of the Nile River passing through a narrow gorge and falling in a mighty thunder of white water. This park is the oldest conservation area in Uganda and home to wild animals such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, chimpanzees, a large number of antelopes, and birds. The main activity in this park is wildlife watching, chimpanzee tracking, bird watching and boating.

Lake Mburo National Park, which is about 3.5 hours drive from Kampala (the capital city), has a rich biodiversity. This is due to the park’s variety of microclimates. Wild animals seen in this area include: many species of birds, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, hyenas, and jackals.

The Ruwenzori Mountains are the highest mountain ranges in Africa and the source of the mighty Nile River. Ruwenzori National Park is the best place in the world for whitewater rafting. The conservation area is also home to primates. Another top destination includes the Uganda Museum, which is an ideal place to learn about past history.
