Using VirtualBox

1. You need to prepare the OS CD installer first to use the application. For example Ubuntu Linux.
2. Open the software in the start menu (if you have to install it).
3. The welcome screen will be displayed when you first use it, please enter your name and email to register (please do as below if you connected to the internet, but if you did not connect to the internet, just click Cancel).
4. Now the second step, we will make a virtual disk, please click File > Virtual Disk Manager.
5. Click the New button.
6. Click Next > Select the image type and then Next > Type the name of your virtual disk, example My disk.vdi, set the Image Size you want > Click the Next button.
7. Finish > Click the OK button.
8. Now the third step is to create a virtual machine (the goal of this article), click the New button > Next > select the name and type of your virtual machine, for example My Ubuntu Linux and search for the name Ubuntu in the “Operating System Type”.
9. Click the Next button > configure virtual machine memory, and then click Next. I put 512 Mb.
10. Select the virtual disk you want to use, for example, My Disk.vdi, then click Next.
11. Click Finish button, now your virtual machine is created successfully.
12. Now the last step is to Install the Operating System (Ubuntu Linux).
13. Right-click My Ubuntu Linux Machine and click settings > select CD/DVD-ROM > check “CD/DVD Drive” > select “Host CD/DVD Drive” If you want to install Ubuntu Linux to via your CD/DVD drive or select “ISO Image File” if you are using an ISO file. Then click OK
14. Click the start button to start installing Ubuntu Linux > click OK and follow the installation steps to install Linux Ubuntu.
15. If you have installed the operating system, you have finished creating the virtual machine.
