Non-local networks were first used by the Pentagon’s “Advanced Research Projects Agency” (the state defense ministry) in 1960.

When designing the network, the main objective was to connect each computer to two other stations, so that the packet messages sent could be transmitted in

Several ways. After a few times, this network gradually changed and gave shape to a new medium that was the modern Internet.

At that time, there was no one to believe that the entire network will grow too fast to be moderate so difficult and there is a necessary need for specialized and expert managers. The most important reason was free space on the web!

But today, the theory of the “World Wide Web” makes all users feel free to access the Internet without the requirement of technical information. In other words, a complicated and easy-to-use mission that makes the user confuse between “Web” and “Internet” as two separate media.

The essential objective of the “WWW” theory was easy and simple access to online content and services through the use of a specific application with special capabilities. So, the production of these applications was a great step towards the online utopia and the classification of services and context in the network.

The improvement of the Internet and web-based services is happening too quickly, so it is impossible for everyone to remember even a tenth of active website names because they have to remember more than 20,000 new ones daily domain names.

Ease of use and friendly application environment are the best reasons for each user to participate in the use of network services. Therefore, it is not logical to expect a user to try to browse hundreds of websites to access various and different services or register for various providers and worry about saving the privacy information for each registration.

So the web reached a new unwanted level that is called to be the era of the “Web Portal”.

So I think if we want to output a new “web portal” declaration, we have to translate it, word for word.

We are almost familiar with the specified definitions of the web and we know that the web is an easy way to access virtual and cyber content or services.

But the question is the portal. When we speak of a portal, we refer to a cybernetic gateway or door. In the other word, portals are trying to take advantage of numerous related websites and bring them together in one place. A unitary place that is implemented to provide the necessary content and services on a daily basis and avoid the dissemination of content.

So from this definition we can understand that the web portal is not a special product, but rather has a standard personality and nature that is being shaped by two structural concepts: Services and content.

The above definition would make the common and inexperienced user confused that each “link page” or each multipurpose website could be termed as a portal that facilitates access to other websites, but regarding the main definition, we can They claim that it is not at all correct to call the collection of site hyperlinks and directories as web portals because web portals have a known personality with the ability to service and provide the desired content to their users.

The basic objective of web portals is to categorize information and make accessing them easier than before. This could help prevent user drift and information from being lost. This could be possible by accessing portals by creating a digital ID and collecting a personal profile.

Most of the web portals are common and sets in some elements that contain:

1- The variety of services

2- Fundraising and business plans

3- The form of user access to information

4- The form of service provision

5- Dissemination provides information

These simple but vital elements are the basic structures of the growth and activation of the web portals that could result in some rough and interesting competition between the portals.

The variety of portal services is very different compared to a website that works in a special and professional field. Due to the limitations of common websites to participate in various and different fields and problems, we can observe that the internal working groups of said websites are much smaller than the web portals that have to share their attention in many directions and topics. .

Below are the most important services, hosted by portals:

Seeker

E-mail services

Free space and blog hosting

Provision of information and advertising

News

Hot downloads

Chat and messaging

But these web portals strive to bring new innovations and provide modern services to avoid user annoyance and also to interest some new users and consumers.

In order not to lose the large number of clients and users, web portals are trying to offer their main and domestic services for free, thus increasing the chances of victory in the field of competition with all opponents.

One of the other properties of web portals is the way the user manages their services. There is a single and unitary way for the user to access all the services, such as blog service, radioblog, mail and chat, online shopping, etc., and that is their personal identification and password.

It will prevent the user from creating and saving numerous IDs and remembering all the security information for each of them and will reduce the hassle between various cookies, cache files and security items.

But let’s say that all the web portals that offer their services for payment types would fail heavily.

Likewise, indirect access to Internet services is one of the great concerns of all 21st century users. One of the main functions of each web portal is to provide the user with remote and wide area services such as SMS-2-Email and other mobility engines.

If all the preliminaries are provided, then we can say that our web portal is at productivity level and we can take advantage of it. But the lack of financial programming and economic reasoning in a scientific way would threaten the entire life of the project.

Regarding the above definitions, a common and general question arises. How does a web portal reach productivity? If all services like email, web-based search, newsgroups, radio, and instant messaging are free, how could it be beneficial and financially useful to us as project owners?

But the answer is so simple. Web portals have a direct relationship with electronic commerce techniques. Therefore, net profitability and productivity are obtained through e-commerce.

But to clear up the problem, let’s define e-commerce once and for all. E-commerce is the exchange of products and services with money using the capabilities of the network!

It means that electronic commerce equates to notification, advertising, communication and exchange through electronic and online data processing. Good examples of common e-commerce today are online stores and e-shops.

It is a great diplomacy for portal owners to increase the number of visitors and users by offering popular and favorite services and to satisfy financial needs and inquiries by collecting good publicity from mainstream companies and well-known brands.

Many think that the portals are subcategorized into two columns: general portals and specialized portals. And it turns out that the portals are grouped at the level of horizontal portals and level of vertical portals. But I think it is not a correct arrangement and I would make mistakes specifying. Many others think that portals are divided into groups of applied portals and informational portals. But it also appears to be incorrect, because the nature of the portal requires the combination of information and services.

On the other hand, some others think that portals fall into these categories:

Business to customer portals (B2C)

Business-to-business (B2B) portals

Business to employer portals (B2E)

Public portals

B2Cs are the most common portals with the function of exchanging products and services between users and companies. But the B2B portal is only limited to exchange between companies.

In fact, with such categorization, we define a property and ability a few times and expand the circle for no reason. We forget that it is possible to have a more abstract and useful categorization.

Imagine that you are one of the photo.net users. One of the image resources most incompatible with educational courses and being updated daily by thousands of users.

Now the site owners decided to offer users free mailbox services. What is the accounting guarantee for this offer?

Remember that the mailbox is only given to those who use and subscribe to photo.net frequently and affect the progress and improvement of the same. As the user is disconnected from the site, no value is mentioned for him and his personal profile on the site.

The structure of the portal is also considered in one of these elements:

Schedule type

Project management type

The type of financial accounting for the site.

The need for the definition of the structure is to prevent the occurrence of probable errors, provide high security and economic savings.

There is no single and unitary construction structure for all web portals and it must be defined based on cultural, financial and geographical conditions. Then the structure of the portal is the presentation of the same that provides us with the basic information about the configuration and management of the project. These presentations are divided into two groups:

Administrative management

Customer Management

The type of project management and the standards used are the basic foundations of the portal. These standards are interacting full time together and breaking the rules and laws would damage the entire structure and foundation intentionally.
