There are still no details regarding the promising Samsung Galaxy S3. What we have right now are clues to its predecessors, the Galaxy S and Galaxy S2. But then again, it’s better to have some kind of information than to have no idea at all. If you are afraid that this phone will never show your face, then worry and fear no more. This is because this phone comes safe. Yes, I was able to say that, simply because Samsung sent out invites to bloggers and industry insiders for the highly anticipated unveiling of this phone. And it will happen on May 3 at the Earls Court Exhibition Center in London at exactly 7:00 p.m. So, in this article, we will talk about the rumored specs of the Samsung Galaxy S3 and its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S2. Keep reading!

According to popular rumors, the Galaxy S3 will sport a larger screen. It’s said to pack a 4.6″ Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen. It sure beats the S2’s 4.3″ Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen by just 0.3″. It’s bigger no matter what. Also It will come with a higher screen resolution at 720 x 1280 pixels and with a pixel density of 319 ppi.The S2 comes with only 480 x 800 pixels and with a pixel density of 217 ppi. There, you can see that the S2 resolution current is upgraded to a higher number. If you find the S2’s display so amazing right now, imagine what the new Galaxy S3 is capable of feeding your eyes.Pictures will truly come to life and colors will simply pop on the screen like never before before.

The S3 is said to pack a 12 MP shutter. Again, this is a wonderful upgrade from the S2’s 8 MP shutter. With said 12MP camera, you’ll get a resolution of 4000 x 3000 pixels compared to its predecessor’s 3264 x 2448 pixels. Now, there are more and more pixels in this new Galaxy S phone. But the two phones are the same when it comes to video recording. Both can record video at 1080 pixels and at 30 frames per second (fps).

The latest Galaxy phone will surely come with the latest iteration of Android. This is perhaps the only sure thing about this phone. Its predecessor originally shipped with the Android Gingerbread operating system, but recently received its Ice Cream Sandwich update. Now, both of them are at the same level when it comes to operating systems.

As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is an update to the famous and best-selling Samsung Galaxy S2. Only this time it comes with a bigger screen and new features that I’m sure you’ll enjoy too.
